well, holiday was great! really good and stuff, but i’ll tell you about it another time.

where am i now? university of kingston and although i’ve only been here a week, i hate it, i want to leave and i’m not sure if this feeling will go.

ever since last year when i left southbank, i always wondered whether uni life was the life for me. i didn’t really want to go for any other reason than to meet people.

except when it comes down to it, i don’t.

being thrown into something where you feel you need to meet loads of people or not be able to fit in is not how i expected it to be.

i think work is where i belong, and perhaps should instead go. take the two years out as a test, did they make me want to go uni? nope, they made me more want to NOT go.

anyway, i’m going to go home now, so i’ll catcha later.

well, i’m sure you are all dying to know how everything has been getting on for the week we’ve been here…

well, we’ve had a lot of thunder storms and lightning, and then a massive power cut which took out the whole of san an (we saw everything across the bay just shutting down!) and we were wondering for a while whether it would ever get better!

it has now though and its nice and sunny… oh zak, btw, i havent had time to mail you personally, but cause you read this i thought you would be ok

jamie arrived on monday, and we saw him for a bit (read, little bit) and have met up once more (friday) which was nice, got a bit drunk etc

thursday was gowrys day, so we went to twiceasnice in es paradis. now, i was a bit apprehensive cause i don’t really go for that sorta music (garage and rnb) but was determinded to make an effort for her

however, it was great, they had dane bowers doing a live set, and this great black bloke with a bald head that was really quite good! (although they did over use ’spinback’ and sometimes kept stopping the musak part way thru, although gowry tells me this is ‘good’ and should be appreciated :)) so that was quite a good nite.

then friday was my turn, and to make up for sat (dp) we were going to xtravanagza (cause blank and jones were there) at privilege. we had a few doubts (cause they weren’t advertised) but thought it would be ok.

privilege itself is the worlds largest club and it really shows. its got loads of seating (woo hoo!) although the dance floors ain’t really that big. and the sound system… eden was bad, privilege was worse. though the place was so nice that we forgave that. until we realised the music was just as crap too. blank and jones weren’t there, and it was instead of a ‘trancy’ night, a ‘progressive’ night, which i hate… although gowry claims she thought it was ok.

so it was more of a bad mood starter for me (i had already lost £20 somewhere :() and i winged a lot (As gowry kept pointing out! :P) but i did hate it

so i’m now disheartened about clubs, though it would be nice to find one that was good, so i could say ibiza clubbing was fun. ironically, jamie has been to a load of different ones to us, and from what he describes, and know i likes, i would have loved them, so perhaps its just a case of being very unlucky

last night we thought, drink, that will be more fun, and yes it was! we had a really nice dinner from the indian/chinese place (which was huuuuuuuuuuge!) and then just drunk some more!

tonite we’re here in san an, probably gonna eat in a minute, then drink drunk drink, perhaps stopping off at simples or nightlife before we go home. (although j/jules was at eden tonite, i didn’t want to risk it, especially as i don;t like the place, and gowry has very kindly offered to come when we get back to england) so things are looking up woo hoo, althoguh she has now just denied she ever said it…. hmmmmmm…..

we’re maybe going to the water park tomorrow, if we get up early enough (today we were lucky to get clean sheets atall, 3 days withough eugrh!)

and then we;ll see what happens for the rest (of course i’ll report here :))

yes fellow chums, me and gowry are now in ibiza and ‘aving it large (As it were :)).

I’m writing to you from ‘plastic fantastic’ which has an internet cafe bit in it (about £1 per 15 minutes) and i know i could be writing individual emails, but its much easier just to write one entry!

so, whats it been like? this is our third day here, and we’ve done quite a bit. first nite, was just crash out, like cause we need sleep (we arrived at 5am ish) but second day we decided to club it.

dave pearce euphoria at eden, which was ok (in theory) but the best bit… MARCELLA WOODS live!!!! now to you people i guess you don’t know that much to me, but marcella woods (in conjunk with matt darey) sang ‘beautiful’ the greatest song of all time!! and we were gonna see her live!!!! WOW!

anyway, we got in to ibizas (apprently) newest super club, and to be honest, it wasn’t really what we expected. well me at least, it was no better than n enlgish club. in fact, i preffered camden no seats and i got tired waiting for marcella to come on (5 hours!) there was one hour of good music, and the rest was crap.

i feel a bit more sorry for gowry though, as she hated all of it! except marcella bit. matt darey, instead of playing the sort of music he writes, played a variation of hard house, made harder with anything resembling a tune, taken out. so we left! even more funny though was we got our hands stamped on the way out…. yup, you guessed it, we could have gone out for a bit and came back in
oh, and just for the record, the dress code, trainers = OK, shorts = OK, tshirts = OK - football shirts/shorts = NO and beachware = NO (so like swimming trunks etc).

what else we been doing then, hmmmm, drinking a lot of vodka and lemon (which gets you drunk as you get soooooo much vodka for about £2.20),chlling on the beach (and going in the sea) which is great cause gowry looks well HOT in a bikini,,, rmm, rmm, !
and basically thats about it, cause we’ve only been here three days, but i’m having the best time of my life and although its ibiza, it feels very special and i feel very close and in love to gowry xxxxxxxxxx
of course, the holiday would not be complete without hoops, and i am very happy to report that they are still here, and although gowry was a bit reluctant to pay for them, i got her round in the end, and now she is like a little puppy on a leash.

in fact she can now have her own icckle slot - take it away:

hi! he is very mistaken to think that i’m a puppy on a leash. for now he knows that he will get beaten up. and it is him is is wrapped around my little finger!
oh and it very nice here lookin forward to twice as nice. bengy will have to keep up with me!

hmm, just need to read up on what i’ve already said…. ahah! nothing :openmouth:, so whats been going on this week?

well yesterday was mine and gow’s (or is that gow and my?) 6 month anniversary, so i obviously had to do something special for her or she would kill me :eek:!

we had planned to go starlight express at victoria, but it was always going to be tight as i needed to go to kingston to get her present off shima (thanks shima if you are reading!!!) which was some bag she liked (i’m crap at this sorta thing, i would have much prefered a nike holdal :)) and a ted and stuff, and by the time that was done, it got to peak traffic to hampton time, so i got there kinda late!

although she didn’t have to get to annoyed about it cause it was all for her! so in the end we went out to a restaurant instead (i had decided to dress up :)), the blue pumpkin in putney, which (despite costing an arm and a leg!) was most delicious and it was well worth it, just to look at gowry looking so beautiful opposite me
i did mention i am in love rite? :lol: :thumbup:

anyway, what else… hmm, erm, friday we were going to go to kingston to go litten tree or whetherspoons (i was late again tho cause i had to go to cheryls to get driving license, and stayed a while chatting) so in the end, after waiting for a non existent bus we decided to stay in and get a pizza we then also discovered that cranbewrry (well i did) and vodka is the nicest drink in the whole world and the cranberry takes the taste of vodka away hurrah!
saturday gowry had to go to hospital to see her mum, so i went home and mixed, although no one was in so i was a bit upset, despite the fact it went quite well and waited for gowry to call, but it got late, so we couldn’t go to the party (seymour or summit had a tab in battersea) so yeah, we stayed in and drunk again (i got some more cranberry!) hahahaha :lol:

sunday, now sunday, this was an eventful day! it was christines leaving party (she is going to gambia for 2 years) and was having a barbeque to like say goodbye it was a normal adult affair, made better as zak and wife (and of course gowry) were there, so it was quite enjoyable, (especially the food! mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm!) and so was the wine…

now, wine, whats the story? well, anyone that knows me and my social gatherings will know that if i go somewhere with free wine, i make the most of it….. and so we did
so basically, for 5 (even 6?) hours we drank. and we drank and drank and drank and got extrememly drunk :openmouth: which was cool, and had a great time we even managed to get home ok! hehehehe

next morning however, problem, i was still drunk so couldn’t drive! haha, i had to keep going back to sleep until i sobered up and then drink coffee and sit in the bath and stuff, until finally i could drive in
everyone was digging me at work though, which i though was very unfair as i was fine not hungover (much) at all :lol:

anyway, have to finish late, someone needs the machine…. ta ta!

yeah, i finally got the run of the systems today and have been implementing many new systems which makes life here sooooo much better we now got our own internal dns (woop woop!) i wish i’d tried that earlier and also the new dhcp is fully up and running.

i deserve a medal for what i’ve done…. too bad i wont get one
got my confirmation letter today from the travel people, so its all set, plane times check out and everything, so no quarms there. just gotta wait the, erm, 51 days until we go and then hoooo zaaaa!

i’ve been watching the rapture ibiza as it happens and its looking good, got my club guide and stuff, just need to get the drugs that will make gowry want to go (jk!)

installed win mil on the machine here to take back home, so i should be back up and running on the internal network as of tonite, although it hasn’t caused too many problems, just not been able to preview the website.

gym tonite, woo hoo! i been starting to like it again after i noticed it was making me more tough hehe, well i can lift more weight anyway i think i’m gonna go the clapham one, cause of the jacuzzi, although i’m not sure if there are many parking spaces outside, nah, balham will do, i don’t need to jacuzzi anyway, its just for wimps
so here i sit, uni applications all done and everything like that, just need to get my loan form off and then i can start rich, and hopefully stay
